Accounting and Office Support
Location: Reston, VA

Position Description

We are a growing small business located in Reston, Virginia providing professional technical services to U.S. Government customers. We are looking for an energetic, Accounting and Office Manager Assistant either full-time or part-time. Duties include contract administration and payroll/HR functions.

Contracts Administration

  • Maintain required monthly reports
  • Prepare and submit invoices
  • Contract monitoring, administration, and compliance
  • Review and prepare contract documentation as the subcontractor and prime contractor
  • Maintain hard-copy binders of active contract documentation
  • Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

Payroll/HR

  • Conduct onboarding administration of new-hire employees
  • Conduct out-processing for terminated employees as required
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Compliance testing
  • Sourcing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
  • Government contracting background with knowledge of FAR
  • Exposure to DCAA procedures and requirements
  • ADP experience
  • QuickBooks experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
